Tim’s journey is about to kick off
Tim Philippus, the new Whale Whisperer, paid a visit to the Tourist Board of the Dominican Republic in Frankfurt, Germany. He will travel to the Dominican Republic to spend four weeks in February observing the whales and visiting the country.
Petra Cruz, the European Director of the Dominican Republic Tourist Board, provided Tim with the travel documents during his visit to the Tourist Board and shared what the new Whale Whisperer will experience during his trip in February: Tim can look forward to the national park Los Haitises, the beaches of Samaná and of course the whales. We have arranged a fantastic program for him,” said Cruz.
“I am really looking forward to the beautiful weather in the Caribbean,” said the 23-year-old north Hessian. He currently works eleven hours almost every single day at a sales stand at the Wiesbaden Christmas market. “I’ve experienced some very cold temperatures a few times,” said the online marketing expert and photographer. “Plus, the greatest thing for me is to see huge animals in their natural habitat,” said Tim Philippus. “So I’m really looking forward to seeing the whales.”
